With the WHL playoffs shifting to the lower seed’s arena for games 3 and 4, I figured it was a good time to look at the WHL attendance to see how the league is drawing at the gate.
League Wide

For the third year in a row, WHL Attendance is down ~1% across the league, averaging 4,361 per game compared to 4,431 last year.
Looking at the 28% increase for Price Albert can be a bit misleading since they still have some of the lowest attendance in the league. They averaged just 2,615 per game this year which was 3rd lowest in the league.
Seattle’s TV Market Teams

Seattle’s Teams
When we isolate Everett and Seattle, we can see the impact of their respective success on the ice has had impact on their attendance. I would consider both franchises very healthy with only a slight drop of attendance in Seattle considered a natural dip.
Please let me know if you have any questions about the attendance data.
