Back in 2013 I asked the NHL to Seattle community to send me pictures of themselves and/or their loved ones wearing hockey jerseys, so I could put them all together in an Opening Day Collage to commemorate the start of the NHL Season. I remember being so excited when 17 of you sent me your photos for the first ever “NHL to Seattle Opening Day Collage”. It was a scrappy and fun way of engaging the community and it has become a tradition.
For the 5th year in a row, we are doing another Opening Week Collage! We have evolved from the email submissions and starting right now you can submit your pictures 2 different ways:
- Hashtag your Twitter and Instagram posts with the #NHLtoSeattle hashtag
- Upload your photos directly on the NHL to Seattle Opening Week 2018 page.
Submissions will be approved and posted all week on the website here.
